Saptha Kanya Mountain In Sri Lanka
Lightning strikes Saptha Kanya mountain in Maskeliya, Sri Lanka, on April 7, 2025. Martinair Flight 138 is a charter flight of Martinair from Surabaya to Jeddah with a stopover in Colombo. On December 4, 1974, the Douglas DC-8 operating the flight crashes into a mountain shortly before landing, killing all 191 people aboard, including 182 passengers, all of whom are Indonesian Hajj pilgrims, and nine crew members.
