Slashing And Stabbing Attack Leaves One Man Dead And One Man Injured At 421 West 202nd Street In Inwood Manhattan New York
Investigators from the NYPD crime scene unit collect a weapon and a hoodie near 421 West 202nd Street in Inwood, Manhattan, New York, on April 7, 2025, where one man is dead after being fatally stabbed and another man is injured after being slashed. At approximately 3:29 AM, the NYPD responds to a 911 call reporting a person slashed inside the building. Upon arrival, they find a 28-year-old man with a neck wound from being slashed. EMS transports him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he is in stable condition. While still on scene, officers are notified at around 4:14 AM that a 31-year-old man has been stabbed in the shoulder. He is rushed to the same hospital, where he is later pronounced dead.
