Detainees' Families Protest Second Hearing In 'Conspiracy Against State Security' Case In Tunis

The activist, political opponent, and accused in the so-called 'conspiracy against state security' case, Chaima Issa, and families of detained political opposition figures scuffle with the police as they are prevented from entering the court to attend the court's second remote hearing in Tunis, Tunisia, on April 11, 2025. Moments earlier, the relatives and families of detained political opposition figures gather in front of the court to support the detainees and protest against what they consider an unfair and invalid trial. They also demand the release of the detainees and accuse the Tunisian president, Kais Saied, of using the judiciary to persecute those who oppose his policies.
