India’s Last Villages Gets Electricity

Solar panels are installed on the rooftop of a residential house as solar electricity is provided to Simari village on the Line of Control in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, India, on April 14, 2025. A remote border village in the Karnah Valley of Jammu and Kashmir is completely electrified and made LPG enabled.
