Soviet Military Cemetery In Warsaw.
Graves of fallen Soviet soldiers are seen at sunset on April 16, 2025. The Mausoleum Cemetery of the Soviet Soldiers in Warsaw, Poland, is the burial place of over 21,000 Soviet soldiers who die fighting against Nazi Germany. It is the largest Soviet war cemetery in Poland and contains one of the first major monuments built in Warsaw to those who fight in the Second World War. Since Russia's full-scale war on Ukraine, Ukrainians living in Warsaw organize a counter-demonstration on Russia's Victory Day, which takes place on May 9, and sees the participation of Russia's ambassador to Poland and other political representatives of the Russian Federation to commemorate the fallen Soviet soldiers.
