Largidae - Bordered Plant Bugs - Cotton Pest - Animal India
Largidae, or bordered plant bugs, are pests of plants like Trewia nudiflora. They damage plants by sucking sap and can stain cotton bolls with their excrement. Some species, such as Dysdercus, are especially harmful to cotton plants. They are called bordered plant bugs because many have distinct colored edges on their hemelytra.
