Mher Azizyan (first from left), a local from Mataghis village, with his two friends decided to stay in the village during the Azerbaijani bombardement and look after their families properties. Mathagis village and the school suffered from the Azerbaijani bombardement, during the night of 27-28 April 2016, by firing mortars, artillery, and multiple rocket launchers.
