A 61-year-old woman is fatally shot in the head, and a 23-year-old man is wounded after being shot in the foot at West 113 Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan, New York, United States, on April 22, 2025. On Tuesday evening at approximately 10:20 PM, police officers hear shots fired at the intersection of West 113 Street and Lenox Avenue in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. Upon arrival, officers discover a 61-year-old woman in front of 65 Lenox Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responds and transports the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside, where she is pronounced dead. A 23-year-old man is also discovered with a gunshot wound to the left foot.
