Fatal Police Involved Shooting On Seaview Avenue And Pennsylvania Avenue In Brooklyn New York
A fatal police-involved shooting occurs on Pennsylvania Avenue and Seaview Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on April 29, 2025. On Tuesday evening at approximately 8:06 PM, NYPD officers on the Belt Parkway attempt to stop a stolen Porsche. The vehicle flees, and at Exit 13, officers set up a roadblock to intercept it. The Porsche accelerates toward the officers, nearly striking one. In response, an officer fires a single shot, hitting the driver. The vehicle then collides with a police car. The passenger is apprehended, and the driver, a 28-year-old man on federal probation for interstate transport of stolen vehicles from Pennsylvania, is transported to a hospital, where he is pronounced dead from the gunshot wound.
