Georgia Celebrates 25th Anniversary of Independence from Soviet Union

Many people, including street artists, gathered in Tbilisi center for a popular celebrations, as Georgia Celebrates its Independence Day commemorating the adoption of the Act of Independence in 1918, that outlined the main principles of the nation's democratic development and formed a first-ever republic under German and British protection, but was then invaded by Bolshevik Russia and absorbed into the Soviet Union.
