12-year-old Boy Fatally Shot In A Homicide During The Production Of A Music Video At A Residence On The 1500 Block Of East Pastorius Street
Philadelphia police investigate a homicide by shooting of a 12-year-old boy during the filming of a music video in the Northwest section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, on May 10, 2025. At approximately 12:32 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, police respond to the 1500 block of East Pastorius Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discover a 12-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds. Police transport the child to Einstein Medical Center where he is pronounced dead at 12:51 p.m. During the production of the music video, the 12-year-old boy is with a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old with the gun present. The gun goes off, killing the 12-year-old boy, and it is unclear who is in possession of the gun. Several evidence bags are carried out by crime scene unit investigators from the residence.
