Two innocent bystanders, an 11-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man, are injured during a shooting on Elton Avenue in Melrose, Bronx, New York, United States, on May 13, 2025. Two men allegedly approach a group of men, gunfire breaks out, and the men then flee on CitiBikes. The child and man, inside a moving vehicle, are injured during the gunfire. The man is shot in the shoulder, and the boy is injured by glass. Both victims are treated at Lincoln Hospital.
