A man is fatally shot in the head inside a playground at Crotona Park in Bronx, New York, United States, on May 30, 2025. On Friday afternoon at approximately 12:44 PM, the NYPD responds to the area of Crotona Park East and East 173rd Street in Bronx, New York, to investigate a shooting and finds an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to his head. EMS pronounces him dead at the scene. Crime scene unit investigators, the district attorney's office, and the medical examiner are on the scene conducting the investigation.
