Multiple Vehicles Were Set On Fire In An Arson Attack In A Parking Lot With NYPD Vehicles On Myrtle Avenue And DeKalb Avenue

Eleven New York City Police Department vehicles are set on fire in a parking lot at Central Avenue and DeKalb Avenue, a block away from the 83rd Precinct Stationhouse, in an arson attack according to New York City Mayor Eric Adams and NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York, United States, on June 12, 2025. At around 1:40 AM, multiple NYPD vehicles are set on fire in a parking lot in an arson attack by an unknown suspect. The FDNY and the NYPD investigate the crime scene. Multiple police officers and detectives are on the scene canvassing the area for clues, members of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit are on the scene searching for evidence, and multiple incendiary devices are found. Other evidence such as sunglasses and a broken glass bottle is also discovered. Federal law enforcement, including the ATF, is on the ground investigating the crime scene.
