Numerous officers stand guard and maintain a security cordon after multiple New York State court officers are slashed by a suspect at 100 Centre Street in Manhattan, New York, United States, on June 16, 2025. Two New York State court officers are slashed, one in the face and another in the neck. A third officer is also shoved into a barrier during the violent attack at the Manhattan Criminal Court entrance on Monday morning. The 37-year-old suspect, with 18 prior arrests and three open cases, allegedly targets the officers at the metal detectors.
