Indian Embassy Evacuated Kashmiri Students From Iran Amid The Ongoing Iran-Israel Conflict
Sabha Rasool, 26, a Kashmiri student studying in Iran, speaks to the media at his residence in Srinagar after being evacuated from Iran, in Jammu and Kashmir, on June 19, 2025. Over 110 Indian students, including 90 students from the Kashmir Valley, return to India early Thursday morning from Iran, following a successful evacuation under Operation Sindhu. The students, who are stuck amid the escalating tensions in Iran, are first flown to Armenia, then to Doha, before landing in Delhi. Their safe return brings much-needed relief to their families. Meanwhile, Israel's military states Iran launches a barrage of ballistic missiles at Israel overnight. Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national emergency services, reports dozens of injured across Israel, with some in critical condition. (Photo by Firdous Nazir/NurPhoto)
