29-year-old Woman Found Dead With Trauma To The Head Inside Of 39 Avenue X

A 29-year-old woman is found dead with trauma to the head at 39 Avenue X in Gravesend, Brooklyn, New York, United States, on June 19, 2025. On Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:26 PM, officers respond to 39 Avenue X in the Gravesend neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discover a 29-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the head. EMS responds and pronounces the 29-year-old female deceased at the scene. The Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing at this time. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification.
