Monsoon And Rainbow In Nepal
People jog along the road in Lalitpur, Nepal, on June 20, 2025, wearing umbrellas following the rain brought by the monsoon climatic effects. According to a special weather bulletin issued by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), this expansion occurs 23 days after the monsoon first enters Nepal. This year, the monsoon enters from the eastern part of the country on May 29 and initially covers most parts of Koshi Province. By June 12, it expands to parts of Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as the eastern region of Lumbini Province. (Photo by Subaas Shrestha/NurPhoto)
