One Person Shot In The Head And Another Person Injured In Shooting Near Stonewall Inn In New York City

A 16-year-old girl sustains a gunshot wound to the head, and a 17-year-old girl is shot in the leg in a shooting by Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York, United States, on June 29, 2025. At 3 Sheridan Square, at approximately 10:15 PM on Sunday evening, the 16-year-old girl is transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition. The 17-year-old girl is in stable condition at Bellevue. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is active and ongoing. Blood and shell casings are noticeable at the scene. The NYPD Crime Scene Unit investigators are canvassing Stonewall Plaza, searching for evidence. Investigators collect evidence where a food truck is parked near the scene.
