Wildfire Affects Mediterranean Scrub Near Otranto
A Canadair skims the surface of the Adriatic Sea to collect water for wildfire suppression near Otranto, in the southern region of Puglia, Italy, on July 10, 2025. -The blaze, fueled by strong maestrale winds, scorched over 150 hectares of vegetation along the Adriatic coast.
