Nine People Killed And Over 30 People Injured In Fire At Gabriel House Of Fall River
Crime scene tape cordons off the area following a fire at the Gabriel House assisted living facility, which results in the deaths of nine people and over thirty individuals, including firefighters, sustaining injuries in Fall River, Massachusetts, United States, on July 14, 2025. Nine people are pronounced deceased, and one other person is in critical condition. More than 30 others are transported to local and regional hospitals in varying conditions. Five firefighters are transported for injuries that are not life-threatening. About 70 people reside at the facility prior to the fire. A family notification center is set up at the chapel of St. Anne's Hospital nearby. The origin and cause of the fire is under investigation.
