Woman Fatally And Brutally Stabbed Multiple Times Inside Of 2295 Grand Concourse Within The Confines Of The 46 Precinct

Members of the NYPD crime scene unit investigate apartment number 4A on the fourth floor and remove evidence, including a weapon box containing the knife used in the fatal slaying, collected from 2295 Grand Concourse in Bronx, New York, United States, on July 23, 2025, where a woman is fatally stabbed multiple times inside the building within the confines of the 46th precinct originally on July 22, 2025. On Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2:51 PM, police officers respond to a 911 call of an assault in progress inside and find an unidentified woman unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to her body. EMS responds and transports the victim to BronxCare Health System, where she is pronounced dead. A person of interest is taken into custody, and the investigation remains ongoing. The identity of the deceased is withheld pending proper family notification. Blood marks and stains are visible on the stairs leading to the third and fourth floors of the building.
