Driver Of A Vehicle Who Is Employed As A Trucker Stabs A Person With A Screwdriver And Is Arrested Outside Of Chit Chat Diner

The driver of a vehicle, employed as a trucker, stabs a person with a screwdriver and is arrested outside of Chit Chat Diner in Hackensack, New Jersey, United States, on July 25, 2025. On July 25, 2025, Hackensack Police Officers respond to the area of Essex St. near Porter Ave outside Chit Chat Diner for a report of a fight in progress. It is determined that a 49-year-old male walks across Porter Ave in front of a vehicle exiting Porter Avenue onto Essex Street, causing the vehicle to stop abruptly. A dispute ensues with the passenger of the vehicle, identified as AGUSTIN FUENTES-SANCHES, after the victim kicks the vehicle. FUENTES-SANCHEZ produces a screwdriver during the dispute and assaults the victim. The victim suffers a minor puncture wound and is transported to a local hospital for treatment.
