81st Anniversary Of The Warsaw Uprising In Krakow
In Krakow, Poland, on August 1, 2025, an ambulance is present during the commemoration of the 81st anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising at the Main Market Square. On August 1, 1944, at 5:00 p.m., the 'W' hour, the Warsaw Uprising begins with the aim of liberating the capital from German occupation before the Red Army enters. The uprising is supposed to last a few days, but it falls only on October 3 after 63 days of fighting.
