45-year-old Man Was Fatally Stabbed To The Chest Inside Of 40-38 Case Street
Members of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit bring out evidence bags and a knife weapon box from the scene where a man in his 40s, identified as Lidio Castro-Cruz, is fatally stabbed in the chest inside 40-38 Case Street in Elmhurst, Queens, New York, on August 5, 2025. On Sunday afternoon at 5:51 PM, police officers respond within the confines of the 110 Precinct and find Lidio Castro-Cruz with a stab wound to the chest. EMS responds and transports the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he is pronounced dead. A 35-year-old man, identified as Rosendo Lopez, is arrested and charged with the murder.
