On Thursday evening at approximately 10:30 p.m., police respond to a gift shop in front of 1629 Westchester Avenue within the confines of the 43 Precinct in Soundview, Bronx, New York. Upon arrival, officers find a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responds and then transports the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi where he is pronounced dead.
