The Mourning Tent For Awda Al-Hathaleen In Umm Al-Khair
Women from the Bedouin village of Umm al-Khair fast in their tent in protest over the Israeli authorities' refusal to release the body of Awda al-Hathaleen. Al-Hathaleen is shot dead by settler Yinon Levi in full view of the cameras on Monday, July 28, 2025. Since then, the Israeli police condition the release of his body on holding a funeral with no more than 15 participants.
