Kasem McDonald, 42, is arrested for fatally shooting his 45-year-old ex-girlfriend, Shaneequah Williams, in her apartment at 89 Astor Street in Newark, New Jersey, United States, on August 9, 2025. Kasem McDonald flees the scene and then surrenders at the Essex County Correctional Facility. McDonald is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
