Mass Shooting At 686 Allerton Avenue In New York City Leaves One Person Dead And Four Others Injured

NYPD crime scene unit investigators recover evidence from the scene of the mass shooting and store evidence bags at 686 Allerton Avenue in Bronx, New York, United States, on September 1, 2025. On Monday at approximately 7:34 PM, police respond to a 911 call of multiple people shot within the confines of the 49 Precinct, and police find five adult men who are shot at the location. EMS transports all five males to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi. A 27-year-old male sustains a gunshot wound to the left foot, a 25-year-old male sustains a gunshot wound to the arm, a 21-year-old male sustains a gunshot wound to the arm, and a 27-year-old male is grazed in the leg. All four men are in stable condition. A 25-year-old man who sustains multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body is pronounced deceased at NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi. Multiple persons of interest are taken into custody in the vicinity. One of the persons of interest, a 24-year-old male, sustains injuries from a vehicle collision in the vicinity of Arnow Avenue and Hone Avenue and is transported by EMS to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.
