Indra Jatra Festival Starts In Kathmandu, Nepal

Masked dancers perform the Dee Pyakhan ritual at Kathmandu Durbar Square in Kathmandu, Nepal, on September 4, 2025, as a ceremonial pole, Yonshi or Indra Dhwaj, is erected for the eight-day Indra Jatra festival honoring Indra, the King of Heaven and Lord of Rains.
