A 31-year-old male victim is on the sidewalk when an unknown suspect inside a white vehicle pulls up and fires multiple gunshots in the victim's direction, striking him in the head and killing him on the 7400 block of S. Kimbark Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on September 9, 2025. The offending vehicle flees northbound from the scene. The man is transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, where he is later pronounced deceased. There are no suspects in custody.
