On Thursday morning at approximately 8:17 AM, City of Newburgh Police respond to a shooting incident inside the residence at 184 North Miller Street and locate an 11-year-old boy inside the residence who is deceased from a gunshot wound. A firearm is recovered at the scene. A 13-year-old boy who is not related to the victim is arrested for 2nd Degree Murder. The investigation is ongoing by local law enforcement and federal agencies.
