Vigil With Balloons And Candles For An 11-year-old Boy Who Was Shot To The Head And Killed Allegedly By A 13-year-old Boy Inside Of A Home At 184 North Miller Street

Members of the community participate in a vigil for the 11-year-old boy shot and killed allegedly by a 13-year-old boy inside 184 North Miller Street in Newburgh, New York, on October 10, 2025. On Thursday morning at approximately 8:17 AM, City of Newburgh Police respond to a shooting incident inside the residence at 184 North Miller Street and locate an 11-year-old boy inside the residence who is deceased from a gunshot wound. A firearm is recovered at the scene. A 13-year-old boy who is not related to the victim is arrested for 2nd Degree Murder. The investigation is ongoing by local law enforcement and federal agencies.
