Procession Of The Holy Doctors
The statue of Saints Cosmas and Damian is present during the Saints' procession in Bitonto, Italy, on October 19, 2025. The feast dedicated to Saints Cosmas and Damian is celebrated in Bitonto every year on the third Sunday of October since 1733. On this occasion, the parish priest Don Gaetano Coviello welcomes the numerous pilgrims and citizens who arrive at the sanctuary to venerate Saints Cosmas and Damian. Many faithful, coming from all over southern Italy, travel to the city to ask the saints for favors or to thank them for graces received, as they are recognized as miracle workers.
