NYPD Investigating After A Woman Was Found Dead On A Sidewalk Reportedly Inside A Trash Bag At East 124 Street And Park Avenue Within The Confines Of The 25 Precinct
Members of the medical examiner's office remove the body of a woman who is found dead on a sidewalk at East 124 Street and Park Avenue within the confines of the 25 Precinct in Manhattan, New York, United States, on October 27, 2025. On Monday evening at approximately 6:33 PM, NYPD personnel are requested by MTA Police regarding an unconscious female on the sidewalk at East 124 Street and Park Avenue, within the confines of the 25 Precinct. Upon arrival, police observe an unidentified female, unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the sidewalk at the location. EMS responds and pronounces the female deceased at the scene. The New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner determines the cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing. The identity of the deceased is pending at this time.
