Protest In Rome, Italy
In Rome, Italy, on November 5, 2025, people take part in a protest following recent episodes of violence in the Esquilino neighborhood. The Young Democrats of Rome's Municipio I launch a mobilization to defend the neighborhood's ''civic, democratic, and anti-fascist soul.'' This includes an attack by about thirty people on the Bar allo Statuto in Piazza Vittorio on the day of the large Palestine march on October 4. Armed with helmets and sticks and chanting ''Boia chi molla,'' they target customers wearing keffiyehs or carrying Palestinian flags.
