25-year-old Man Fatally Shot To The Head At 2111 Southern Boulevard Within Confines Of The 48 Precinct

NYPD officers work the scene where a 25-year-old man is fatally shot in the head inside 2111 Southern Boulevard within the confines of the 48th precinct in Bronx, New York, United States, on November 9, 2025. On Sunday evening at approximately 5:45 PM, police respond and find a 25-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responds and pronounces the male deceased on the scene. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is active and ongoing. The identity of the deceased is withheld pending family notification. Members of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit process the scene, police officers stage in the area, and personnel from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner take possession of the body of the 25-year-old man.
