Paniz Faryousefi is the first female symphony orchestra conductor since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. She leads the Tehran Symphony Orchestra at Vahdat Hall in downtown Tehran, Iran, on November 12, 2025. Paniz Firouzi is the first woman to conduct the Tehran Symphony Orchestra since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
