The Tehran Symphony Orchestra performs under the baton of Paniz Faryousefi, the first female symphony orchestra conductor since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, at Vahdat Hall in downtown Tehran, Iran, on November 12, 2025. Paniz Firouzi is the first woman to conduct the Tehran Symphony Orchestra since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
