The Process Of Preparation And Contesting Ancient Elephant Fossils

The Geological Team from the Bandung Geological Museum repairs one of the ancient bull horns at the Bandung Geological Museum in West Java, Indonesia, on November 14, 2025. In addition to the ancient elephant fossil (Stegodon Trigonocephalus) estimated to be 800,000 years old, the Geology Team also begins preparing and conserving other fossils, such as the ancient buffalo horn fossil discovered in Nganjuk, East Java, in October 2024.
