Molotov Cocktail Was Reportedly Used By Multiple Suspects In An Arson Attack At 131 Christopher St. Within The Confines Of The Sixth Precinct

Workers of a barbershop and smoke shop clean up debris and damage outside and inside the storefronts following an incident where multiple suspects reportedly use a Molotov cocktail in an arson attack at 131 Christopher St. within the confines of the sixth precinct in Manhattan, New York, United States, on December 3, 2025. The incident transpires on Wednesday morning at approximately 3:11 AM, and it is reported that a device is used in the arson. An investigation is currently underway by the FDNY and the New York City Police Department as they establish a security cordon to search for those who commit the crime. It is unknown at this time what type of device it is; however, numerous sources report it is a Molotov cocktail. Several investigators are on the scene where numerous windows at a barbershop are shattered and broken. Evidence markers line the street at the scene of the crime. Several evidence bags with evidence collected from inside the building and outside are carried by investigators with the NYPD crime scene unit.
