Tenants Rally In Minneapolis After Reported Immigration Enforcement Incident
Tenants and community members with the IPG Tenant Union rally at the Greenway Apartments in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 13, 2025, following reports that a maintenance worker for Investment Property Group (IPG) opens the door of a tenant targeted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement without notice or a warrant on December 3. The tenant is subsequently detained out of state. Participants call on IPG to commit to non-cooperation with federal immigration enforcement and raise concerns about housing conditions, eviction practices, safety issues, and communication from property management. Members of the tenant union speak at the event and urge protections for immigrant renters. (Photo by Christian Zander/NurPhoto)
