The Tiring Building In Downtown Cairo

The Tiring Building is a historic landmark located in the Ataba district of downtown Cairo, Egypt. Designed by Austrian architect Oscar Horowitz and built between 1913 and 1915, the five-story building is distinguished by a sculptural globe supported by four statues crowning its roof. The building is now used for commercial purposes, housing garment workshops and storage spaces serving the bustling Ataba market in Cairo, Egypt, on January 7, 2026.
