Working On The Frontline Of Bandung's Waste Crisis
Sanitation workers sort plastic waste at the Tegallega Integrated Waste Management Facility (TPST) in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The Bandung City Government records that around 100 tons of waste per day can now be managed through cooperation with various RDF processing facilities operating in several areas in West Java, including in Bandung City and its surroundings. This effort aims to reduce the volume of waste entering final disposal sites and serves as a proactive measure to address waste emergencies by utilizing waste as a more sustainable alternative fuel source.
