Suspect Arrested After Woman Shot Multiple Times At Residence On Charles Street

A suspect is arrested after a woman is shot multiple times at a residence on Charles Street in Englewood, New Jersey, United States, on January 18, 2026. On Sunday morning at approximately 3:52 a.m., the Englewood Police Department responds to a shooting at a private residence on Charles Street. Upon arrival, responding officers locate an adult female victim who is struck by gunfire that injures her arm and shoulder. The victim is transported to Hackensack University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive. A suspect is taken into custody at the scene. Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit are notified, respond to the scene, and launch a joint investigation with the Englewood Police Department.
