IMF Revises Indonesia's 2026 Economic Growth Outlook

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) raises its economic growth forecast for Indonesia for 2026 and 2027. In the World Economic Outlook (WEO) released in October 2025, the IMF projects Indonesia's economic growth at 4.9 percent in 2026 and 5.0 percent in 2027. In the WEO Update published in January 2026, the projections are revised upward to 5.1 percent for both years, representing increases of 0.2 percentage points for 2026 and 0.1 percentage points for 2027.
