Sichuan
In Songpan County, Sichuan Province, China, on July 9, 2011, the translucent waters of Jiuzhaigou create a surreal landscape, where each reflection seems suspended in time. The lakes, of exceptional clarity, reveal fossilized tree trunks and limestone rocks, frozen beneath a surface of intense blue or emerald.
