Venice Carnival 2026
Carnival Water parade is held in Venice in the opening weekend of Venice Carnival in Venice, Italy on February 1st, 2026. Hundreds of boats carrying masked revelers crossed the Grand Canal from Punta della Dogana to Rialto, where the lead vessel-topped with a papier-mache Pantegana-burst into thousands of colorful confetti.
