Demonstration For Tempi Train Crash Anniversary In Thessaloniki
Garbage bins thrown on the streets before riots broke out. Thousands of people demonstrate in Thessaloniki while multiple protest across Greece to mark the third anniversary of the train crash in Tempi, central Greece resulting in the death of 57 victims. Protesters carried banners and shouted slogans demanding justice ahead of the upcoming trial. The main rally was organized by an association of victims' families, supported by opposition parties, labor unions and student associations.
