Iranians Rally For Regime Change In Toronto

Protestors carry a large portrait of Reza Pahlavi as 350,000 Canadians take part in a protest against the Islamic Republic of Iran in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on February 14, 2026. The protest is one of the largest protests ever in Toronto and is part of a Global Day of Action coinciding with other similar protests that take place in major cities around the world. Protesters drape themselves in red, white, and green flags emblazoned with a golden lion and sun, the flag Iran uses before the Islamic Republic comes to power in 1979. The rally is a response to a call by exiled Iranian crown prince Reza Pahlavi to show solidarity with anti-government demonstrators in Iran and support a national uprising of the Iranian people. Protesters call for a regime change and that power in Iran be returned to Reza Pahlavi, the former exiled Crown Prince of Iran and the last heir apparent to the defunct throne of the Imperial State of Iran.
