Guns Handed Over to Mexican Military In Tijuana, Mexico

Mexican military officers present Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar with a display of 500 guns, part of 1,700 confiscated from criminal organizations, in Tijuana, Mexico, on March 17, 2026. The firearms were transferred from the Baja California Attorney General's Office to Mexico's Ministry of National Defense, which plans to destroy guns collected monthly. The display was shown to members of the press during a destruction ceremony at the 2nd Military Zone Morelos Barracks Headquarters. (Photo by Carlos Moreno/NurPhoto)
